Each year, the ENSI Board defines objectives for the management of the Swiss Federal Nuclear Safety Inspectorate (ENSI) as part of the Performance Agreement. These objectives are geared to the strategic goals specified in the Performance Mandate, which always has a validity period of four years.

The Federal Council confirmed the current ENSI Board members for the 2016 to 2019 term and appointed Monica Duca Widmer as a new member to the board. She will succeed Hans Pfeiffer, who is retiring from the board at the end of 2015.
